The journey to college baseball is frustrating, confusing, and filled with misconceptions
My journey to college baseball was unbelievably frustrating. My family didn't come from a sports background and we relied heavily on the opinion and advice of others to strategize my recruiting game plan. I was always told, "If you're good enough, they will find you". 

Well let me tell you, this can't be any further from the truth. By the time my high school junior season rolled around, I was one of the most dominant players in the state and yet I was left without any college offers. I frantically began calling recruiters, researching, reading, and doing everything I could to get seen by college coaches but by the time I knew what I needed to do, it was too late.

The idea of this course was birthed around the lack of resources I had for my recruiting process. If this course helps just one person, it's not a waste of time because I was once that thirteen-year-old with big dreams, but didn't know how to get there. I created this to save you time, energy, and most importantly, regret. Regardless of  talent and ability, you have to know the ins and outs of the recruiting process in order to create an effective recruiting plan. Don't hesitate, don't wait, because roster spots are filling up and your player's dreams are getting closer and closer to slipping away.

"Being recruited as a dual-sport was chaotic to say the least. I knew where I wanted to go, but I had no way of figuring out how to actually get there. The biggest thing I struggled with was comparing myself to everybody else and I had to learn that everyone's recruiting process looks different. I would get so frustrated with schools thinking I was the 'right' fit for them, but they thought the opposite. I wasted time and energy chasing the wrong schools and the wrong people. When you have all of the information, tools, and resources that you need, you can take control of your recruiting process and end up at school where you feel valued but can also give value."
